Warehouse FLT in Poole

Holt Engineering are urgently recruiting experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operatives to join a busy and growing warehouse and manufacturing environment in Poole.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FLT Driver looking for immediate work with a genuine opportunity to secure a permanent position.

The Role as a Counterbalance Forklift Operative, you will be responsible for the safe movement of goods and materials across the warehouse and production areas.

Your duties will include:

• Operating a Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving stock and materials around the warehouse and production areas
• Carrying out goods-in and goods-out duties
• Checking incoming and outgoing goods for damage and accuracy
• Booking stock in and out using warehouse systems
• Moving pallets and materials to allocated storage locations
• Picking and preparing stock for dispatch
• Loading vehicles and ensuring goods are secured correctly
• Supporting stock checks and maintaining accurate stock records
• Working closely with warehouse and production teams
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Supporting with general warehouse duties when required

What We're Looking For ESSENTIAL:

• Accredited Counterbalance FLT licence
• Full UK driving licence
• Recent and confident forklift operating experience
• Previous warehouse, logistics or manufacturing experience
• Experience with goods-in and goods-out
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

DESIRABLE:

• Experience using warehouse management or stock control systems
• Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
