We’re looking for a Stores Person/ Picker to join an established engineering business in Poole, with an immediate start available.
This is a hands‑on role within a busy engineering environment, supporting the smooth flow of materials, parts and equipment across the business.
The duties for the Stores Person/ Picker will be:
- Receiving and checking incoming goods
- Picking and issuing materials and components
- Stock control and regular stock checks
- Maintaining accurate stock records
- Preparing materials for engineering and production teams
- Managing deliveries and collections
- Keeping the stores organised and efficient
- Liaising with engineering, production and purchasing teams
The Stores Person/ Picker must have:
- Experienced in picking is essential, stores experience would be advantageous
- Organised with excellent attention to detail
- Reliable and proactive
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
- Confident handling stock and materials
- Ideally experienced within an engineering or manufacturing setting
Immediate availability is highly desirable.
