Are you an organised, friendly and proactive administrator looking to make a real difference in a school community?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised School Office Administrator and Senior Midday Assistant to join our small, friendly team.

This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of the school, providing a warm welcome to pupils, parents and visitors while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.

As the first point of contact for our school, you'll need excellent communication and organisational skills, a positive and flexible approach, and the ability to manage a varied workload in a busy environment.

Alongside office administration, you'll also lead our lunchtime team as Senior Midday Assistant, helping to ensure our pupils enjoy a safe, happy and positive lunchtime experience.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will

  • Be friendly, approachable and professional, with excellent customer service skills.
  • Have previous administrative experience and be confident using Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Be able to organise and prioritise a varied workload while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff and external agencies.
  • Be committed to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.
  • Ideally have experience of working within a school environment and using SIMS, Parent Mail and CPOMS, although training will be provided.
  • Be willing to undertake Paediatric First Aid training if not already qualified.

This is a fixed-term position until Summer 2027.
