We are looking for an experienced Embedded Linux Developer with a strong grounding in embedded MCU and Linux development to join a highly technical engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working across different technologies and applications, with the chance to contribute to projects spanning embedded Linux, bare-metal systems, RTOS, device drivers, algorithms and communications protocols.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, supporting projects from initial concept through to delivery.
The role offers significant variety and the opportunity to work at the interface between software and hardware, solving complex technical challenges and developing robust, maintainable embedded solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Contribute to embedded engineering projects from early development through to delivered solutions.
Develop software for Embedded Linux systems, including ARM-based So Cs.
Develop software for RTOS and bare-metal embedded systems across a range of microcontrollers and silicon platforms.
Support system bring-up, board integration, debugging and performance optimisation.
Work closely with FPGA and electronics engineers to integrate software and hardware.
Develop and maintain device drivers, embedded applications, algorithms and communications protocols.
Diagnose and resolve complex software and system-level issues.
Contribute to project planning, technical documentation and software development processes.
Apply robust software engineering practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Communicate technical information effectively to engineering teams and, where appropriate, customers.
Essential Experience
Strong experience developing embedded Linux systems.
Knowledge of device trees, user space, kernel space and So C platforms.
Experience working with embedded hardware and software integration.
