Trainee Machine Operator
Holt Engineering is currently looking for a Trainee Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Wareham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a modern production and manufacturing environment, with full training provided on specialist machinery.
The Role:
- Operating and monitoring production machinery to manufacture products to the required specification.
- Loading materials and components into machinery and ensuring production runs smoothly.
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
- Following detailed work instructions and production procedures.
- Identifying and reporting any faults, defects or issues with machinery or products.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.
- Receiving full training to become competent in operating specialist manufacturing machinery.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience within a production, manufacturing, assembly or machine operating environment would be advantageous.
- A practical and hands-on approach to work.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Comfortable working with machinery and learning new processes.
- Reliable, punctual and keen to develop new skills.
- Previous electronics or engineering experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
