This is a hands-on role focused on setting and operating 2 and 3 axis CNC lathes, supporting production, and maintaining high quality standards across the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities- Set and operate 2 and 3 axis CNC turning machines
- Prepare tooling and work holding using engineering drawings and job sheets
- Adjust offsets, change tooling and inserts, and ensure machines are running efficiently
- Carry out first-off inspections and accurate measurements using inspection equipment
- Support production targets while maintaining high quality standards
- Keep tooling and work areas organised, clean, and maintained
- Work closely with other setters, operators, and inspection staff to maintain workflow
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately
- Previous experience as a CNC Turner / CNC Setter
- Experience setting and operating CNC lathes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Confident using measuring equipment and inspection tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good understanding of machining processes and tooling
- Experience with 2 and 3 axis CNC machinery
- Exposure to live tooling or driven tooling machinery
- Training provided on live and driven tooling
