We are recruiting an experienced
Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team supporting the movement of goods both within the UK and internationally.
This is a hands‑on role where you will play a key part in ensuring products are received, stored and dispatched accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Receiving, checking and storing incoming deliveries
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely
- Carrying out goods in and goods out inspections
- Preparing orders for dispatch, including pallet wrapping and labelling
- Completing stock movements and updating warehouse systems
- Carrying out stock checks and maintaining stock accuracy
- Operating warehouse equipment, including a Counterbalance Forklift where licensed
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and efficient
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Counterbalance Forklift experience (valid licence preferred)
- Experience preparing goods for UK and international dispatch is advantageous
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to undertake manual handling duties
