Holt Engineering are recruiting for a Document Controller to join a growing project-based business. This role is focused on managing technical documentation, drawing revisions, and project information across live construction and technical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and control project documentation, technical drawings, revisions, and records across multiple live projects
- Maintain Common Data Environment (CDE) systems and document workflows
- Ensure teams are working from the latest approved drawings and documentation
- Upload, distribute, track, and archive project information across internal and cloud-based systems
- Maintain document registers, trackers, transmittals, and revision histories
- Support ISO19650 information management standards and document control procedures
- Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to coordinate project information
- Assist with O&M manuals, handover packs, and final project documentation
Required Experience & Skills
- Previous experience as a Document Controller, Information Controller, or similar
- Strong understanding of Common Data Environments (CDEs), including systems such as Viewpoint, Project 4P, SharePoint, and similar document management platforms
- Knowledge of ISO19650 standards and information management processes
- Experience managing technical drawings and revision control
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Able to manage multiple priorities within fast-paced project environments
- Construction, engineering, architecture, or project-based industry experience preferred
