Fabricator Assembler in Ferndown, Dorset

This role is with a Dorset-based manufacturer producing bespoke and standard equipment for commercial and industrial applications. The Fabricator Assembler will be involved in both component manufacture and final assembly, giving visibility from sheet metal parts through to completed products. This is a practical, varied position for someone who enjoys fabrication, mechanical assembly and working from engineering drawings in a hands-on production environment.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Cut, drill and prepare sheet metal components for manufacture
- Fold, form and modify sheet metal parts where required
- Assemble completed products using engineering drawings and build instructions
- Carry out fitting, drilling, riveting and general mechanical assembly work
