Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer looking for an experienced Production Technician to join their growing team in Ringwood. Supplying premium products to various services across the UK, with a reputation for quality, innovation, and exceptional customer service, they continue to invest in their people, processes, and facilities, creating an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a long-term career in food manufacturing.
The position is temporary to permanent working Monday to Friday 7am - 4:30pm, paying £29-£30,000pa.
As a Production Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, blending, and processing products in line with production schedules and recipes.
- Operating production equipment and carrying out basic fault finding where required.
- Recording production data accurately and maintaining documentation.
- Cleaning production equipment, process tanks, and production lines.
- Ensuring the production area remains audit-ready.
- Packaging and preparing finished goods for transfer to the warehouse.
- Undertaking additional training and duties as required to support business operations.
To be successful in this Production Technician role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience within a food manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience working within a liquid processing or blending operation (desirable).
- A technically minded approach with the ability to identify and resolve production issues.
- The ability to accurately follow work orders and production schedules.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Own transport due to the location and occasional shift flexibility.
