Holt Engineering is currently working with an innovative Electronics manufacturing company based in Fareham, Due to an ever-expanding order book our clients are looking for an experienced Repair Technician.

As a Repair Technician, your role will be to assist in the review and repair of faulty products received by the company.

Duties for the Repair Technician:

Repair and review all products received
Rework of PCB components
Working on SMT, through hole and PCB track repair procedures
Soldering to IPC standards.
Soldering small components.
Soldering with a microscope at times.To be a successful Repair Technician you must:

PCB soldering experience
Experience in electronic rework and repair
Be able to understand technical drawings
Solder to good standards
Experience in IPC 7711/7721
IPC 610 certificate – beneficial
Good attention to detail and be able to work to tight deadlinesFor the successful Repair Technician, you will:

Get a competitive pay structure
Early finish on Fridays
Friendly work environmentThe working hours are:

Monday to Thursday 7:30-16:30 and early finish on Fridays 12:30Paying between £13.50-£15.00 ph (depending on experience)
