Hours: Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:00, Friday 08:00 - 14:30

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on Quality Engineer to join a growing aerospace manufacturing environment, supporting the delivery of on-time, first-time quality performance. This role will play a key part in driving quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement, while also supporting wider health, safety, and environmental (HSE) activities. You will work closely with the QHSE Manager and cross-functional teams to embed a strong quality culture across the business, ensuring systems, processes, and products meet both internal and external standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards, maintaining accurate documentation and audit readiness.
  • Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance across the business.
  • Maintain and improve the Business Management System (BMS), including internal audit programmes.
  • Lead and support root cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) and drive corrective actions.
  • Manage and track non-conformances (NCRs), identifying trends and implementing preventative actions.
  • Support customer and supplier quality activities, including audits and investigations.
  • Assist with First Article Inspections (FAI) to AS9102 standards.
  • Oversee calibration systems and ensure equipment compliance.
