We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to support a busy maintenance division, keeping planned service work, vessel communication, reporting and customer handovers running smoothly across a fast-paced operation.

Project Manager Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage service and maintenance schedules with the client
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, breaks and time in lieu for the field team
  • Oversee team planning, workload, equipment and readiness
  • Develop clear maintenance reporting and follow-up processes
  • Visit completed installations and support smooth handover into maintenance
  • Manage the shared inbox and vessel communications
  • Log issues, track actions and take ownership through to resolution
  • Build project plans with key milestones for vessel onboarding
  • Provide weekly updates, highlighting risks and solutions
  • Prepare monthly customer reports, including visit summaries, usage analysis and costs
  • Maintain budget trackers after service visits
  • Review KPI data and feedback to identify service improvements

Essential Skills for the Project Manager

  • Previous experience as a Project Manager in a service, maintenance, operations or customer-facing environment
  • Strong project planning and reporting skills
  • Confident written and verbal communication
  • Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing deadlines, priorities and changing requirements
  • Able to work with internal teams, customers and external partners
  • Confident using data, reports and feedback to improve service performance
  • Available for occasional out-of-hours work and travel when required

Desirable Experience

  • PRINCE2, Agile or similar project management training
  • Experience supporting cruise, marine, hospitality, logistics or facilities-based operations
  • Experience preparing customer reports, cost summaries or KPI reviews
