Overview: Holt Engineering is representing a growing organisation within the EV infrastructure sector seeking a Field Service Technician to support the commissioning, maintenance and repair of AC, Rapid DC and High-Power EV charging systems across customer sites throughout the UK. This role is suited to a technically capable electrical engineer with hands-on experience in installation, maintenance or field-based repair environments, who can work independently while delivering high-quality technical support across a variety of operational environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring EV charging infrastructure operates safely, efficiently and in line with industry and client standards.

Essential requirements:

  • Level 3 Electro-technical qualification or equivalent
  • 2 - 5 years experience within electrical installation, maintenance or repair
  • Experience working within SLA-driven environments
  • Familiarity with electrical testing equipment
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable requirements:

  • Experience in EV charging, renewable energy, or power electronics
  • EV charging certifications or manufacturer-specific training
