Holt Engineering is currently working with an innovative PCB manufacturing company based in Fareham. Due to an ever-expanding order book, our clients are looking for experienced Solderers.

As a solderer, your role will be to solder components onto PCB boards using Through-hole and fine soldering.

Duties for the Solderer will include:

  • Following technical drawings and soldering to required IPC standards
  • Soldering small components to PCBs
  • Soldering with a microscope at times

To be a successful Solderer you must have:

  • PCB soldering experience
  • IPC Class 2/3 experience (essential)
  • Ability to understand technical drawings
  • Solder to good standards using through hole soldering techniques
  • IPC certificates beneficial
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines

For the successful Solderer, you will enjoy:

  • Early finish on Fridays
  • Free on-site parking
  • Friendly work environment
  • Flexible working hours

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30-16.30 and finishing on Fridays at 12:30 (flexible hours).

Paying between £12.71-£13 per hour (depending on experience).
