A leading precision engineering business serving sectors such as aerospace, automotive, defence, and motorsport is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer to join its high-performing team. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and program CMM equipment to inspect precision components.
- Conduct detailed dimensional inspection using manual measurement equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges, etc.).
- Support the management and continual improvement of the company's quality management system (QMS).
- Produce accurate inspection reports and documentation in line with customer and internal standards.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation when required.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in CMM operation and programming.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
- Experience maintaining and supporting a QMS in a precision engineering environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- No direct people management experience required — this is a hands-on technical position.
