Location: Office Based in Three Legged Cross | Fridays Working from Home

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE

Contract Type: Permanent Position

Holt Engineering are recruiting for a Document Controller to join a growing project-based business. This role is focused on managing technical documentation, drawing revisions, and project information across live construction and technical projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control project documentation, technical drawings, revisions, and records across multiple live projects
  • Maintain Common Data Environment (CDE) systems and document workflows
  • Ensure teams are working from the latest approved drawings and documentation
  • Upload, distribute, track, and archive project information across internal and cloud-based systems
  • Maintain document registers, trackers, transmittals, and revision histories
  • Support ISO19650 information management standards and document control procedures
  • Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to coordinate project information
  • Assist with O&M manuals, handover packs, and final project documentation
  • Monitor and improve document control processes and workflow systems

Required Experience & Skills

  • Previous experience as a Document Controller, Information Controller, or similar
  • Strong understanding of Common Data Environments (CDEs)
  • Knowledge of ISO19650 standards and information management processes
  • Experience managing technical drawings and revision control
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Able to manage multiple priorities within fast-paced project environments
  • Construction, engineering, architecture, or project-based industry experience preferred
