About the Role
As a CNC Miller, you\\\βll be programming, setting, and operating Heidenhain-controlled milling machines, with Hypermill used offline for more advanced jobs. You\\\βll be working on high-precision components across sectors including motorsport and advanced engineering β the type of work where standards matter and attention to detail pays off.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and optimise milling programs (Heidenhain & Hypermill)
- Select tooling, cutting data, and machining strategies
- Set and operate 3-axis, 4-axis & 5-axis machines
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings
- Perform first-off and in-process inspections
- Work with engineering and production teams to improve processes
What We\\\βre Looking For
- Proven experience as a programmer
- Confident with Heidenhain controls (essential)
- Hypermill experience preferred: other CAD/Cam software also considered
- Strong knowledge of tooling, feeds & speeds
- Good understanding of GD&T
- Quality-focused mindset and problem-solving ability
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
