Overview We’re supporting a growing precision engineering business in Andover as they continue to expand their machining team. With a brand-new automotive contract and long-term investment in modern equipment, this is a great opportunity for a skilled CNC Miller / Setter-Operator looking for stability, quality work, and a company that values traditional engineering excellence.

Responsibilities
Set and operate CNC milling machines (Mazak, Heidenhain or Fanuc)
Edit and adjust existing programs to meet precision requirements
Produce high-quality components to tight tolerances
Complete in-process and final quality inspections
Meet production targets while maintaining accuracy
Work closely with the team to ensure smooth workflow
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Requirements
Able to set/operate on Mazak, Heidenhain or Fanuc controls
Comfortable with offsets, tooling changes, and editing programs
Strong understanding of machining practices and materials
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
Quality-focused mindset with solid problem-solving ability
Willingness to work overtime when needed
