We are seeking an experienced Chartered Structural Engineer to lead and oversee the structural engineering aspects of ultimate screw piling projects. In this key role, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and supervision of deep foundation solutions, ensuring safety, compliance, and technical excellence throughout all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Analysis: Develop and assess structural designs for screw piling foundations, including calculations for load, stress, and stability using advanced modelling software.
- Technical Leadership: Provide expert technical advice on screw piling solutions, materials selection, and construction methodologies to clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee site inspections and quality control procedures to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Project Management: Manage commercial projects from inception to completion, including preparation of reports, drawings, and contract administration.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to integrate structural solutions into overall project plans and resolve complex engineering challenges.
- Innovation: Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes, materials, and techniques for screw piling and deep foundation systems.
Essential Requirements:
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a recognised professional engineering institution.
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in structural design and analysis, with a strong background in deep foundations or piling projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tedds, or similar).
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
