We are currently recruiting for an experienced SMT Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Poole. This is a great opportunity for someone with recent SMT experience who is looking for a stable position within a professional manufacturing environment.
The responsibilities for the SMT Operator:
- You will be responsible for operating and monitoring SMT production equipment, ensuring components are placed accurately and products are manufactured to the required quality standards.
- Setting up and operating Europlacer SMT equipment
- Setting up and loading feeders
- Loading and running production programmes
- Carrying out SMT machine changeovers
- Monitoring placement quality throughout production
- Identifying and resolving basic production or machine issues
- Carrying out visual inspections and quality checks
- Working from production drawings, specifications and work instructions
- Ensuring production targets and quality standards are maintained
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Following company procedures and health & safety requirements
To be considered for this SMT Operator Vacancy:
- Recent experience operating Europlacer SMT equipment
- Previous experience within an SMT or electronics manufacturing environment
- Experience setting up feeders and loading programmes
- Experience carrying out SMT changeovers
