Offline Programmer – £44,800–£49,800

This is an opportunity to develop CNC programmes for 3, 4 and 5-axis machining, support production, and help improve manufacturing processes, quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and develop offline CNC programmes for 3, 4 and 5-axis machine tools.
- Produce tool definitions, setup sheets and tooling plans.
- Prove out programmes and support their transition into production.
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and quality.
- Define production routings, tooling, workholding and inspection requirements.
- Work with quality teams to ensure inspection plans are met.
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to new product introduction and lifecycle planning.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an Offline Programmer.
- Background in CNC machining, including milling and turning.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software, ideally Fusion 360 or similar.
- Knowledge of multi-axis machining and tooling strategies.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communication skills when working across teams.
