Key Responsibilities
- MIG welding and fabrication of structural and general steel components
- Work from engineering drawings and fabrication specifications
- Cut, assemble, and weld components accurately to required standards
- Carry out visual checks to ensure weld quality and finish
- Support wider workshop operations where required
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder
- Strong fabrication ability alongside welding skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Training & Development
- Structured 2–3-week shadowing programme
- Training on AutoCAD and 3D design software
- Exposure to press brakes, laser equipment, and Leica laser measurement systems
- Support towards structural steel welding codes
- Additional tickets available (MPORS, IPAF, MEWPs, Forklift, Health & Safety)
