The Role

As a CNC Turner, your responsibilities will include:

• Programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines.
• Working with live tooling and multi-axis lathes.
• Supporting sliding head machining operations where required.
• Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.
• Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections using measuring equipment.
• Making programme and offset adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Ensuring machines are set and running effectively to achieve production targets.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.

What We're Looking For

• To be considered for this CNC Turner position, you'll need:
• Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes.
• Experience working with live tooling and/or multi-axis machines including sliding heads.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of machining tolerances and inspection processes.
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality components.
• A reliable, hands-on approach to manufacturing.
• Desirable Experience
• The following experience would be advantageous:
• Fanuc or similar CNC controls.
• Sliding head machining.
• Precision engineering environments.
• Producing complex components to tight tolerances.
