Responsibilities
- Carry out line and roving inspections on electrical assemblies
- Inspect piece parts, cable assemblies and completed units
- Ensure products meet technical specifications and workmanship standards
- Record and report non‑conformances in line with internal processes
- Log inspection results within inspection records and MRP systems
- Support root cause analysis and ‘Right First Time’ initiatives
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to maintain quality output
- Attend and contribute to production and quality meetings
Qualifications
- Experience as an Electrical Quality Control Inspector or similar
- Background in aerospace, defence or a regulated manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams
- Experience inspecting electrical or cable assemblies
- Familiar with IPC 610 / IPC 620 standards (ideally certified)
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to inspection
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
