Our client, a successful and growing dealership, is looking to expand their team with the addition of an Agricultural Engineer based in the Newbury area.
The Agricultural Engineer role comes with a fantastic package including:
- Basic Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience
- Overtime available at – realistic OTE £45,000 – £50,000
- Company van and fuel card provided
- Company Pension Scheme
- Repairing and maintaining agricultural machinery on customer sites to manufacturer standards
- Completing all relevant paperwork daily with accuracy
- Ordering parts correctly and liaising with the parts department
- Working closely with the Service Supervisor
- Carrying out inspections and repairs in the depot as required
- Identifying any deficiencies or defects affecting safe machine operation and reporting appropriately
Minimum Requirements for Agricultural Engineer:
- Relevant qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or higher in Land-Based Engineering or equivalent)
- Strong experience with agricultural machinery, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, and transmissions
- Ability to diagnose faults using electronic diagnostic tools
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Good basic computer skills (training provided if needed)
- Full, clean UK driving licence
In this role, you’ll need to deliver excellent customer service and have strong technical skills across agricultural machinery and equipment.
