Main Responsibilities:

• Collects containers in various forms (size/weight) and delivers to designated HMG locations.
• Maintain, deliver and handle bank bags with cash and check deposits responsibly and deliver to ADMIN on schedule for daily bank deposits.
• Ensure that all packages are properly secured/locked at all times in the vehicle.
• Secure containers inside company vehicle by using straps, tie downs and/or rope to reduce shifting and damage in route to HMG locations.
• Complete all necessary paperwork for supply deliveries.
• Clean inside of the company vehicle and perform routine pre-trip inspections.
• Pick up mail at each satellite office and bring to mail room to be sorted, posted and mailed.
• Assist with sorting and posting of mail as needed.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and relay any concerns to management.
• Assist in maintaining the mailroom and keep in an orderly and clean manner.
• Assist Materials Management with special projects as needed.
• Be a back up to receiving clerk as needed for delivery of mail and packages within central HMG location.
• Exhibit professional, well groomed, neat appearance that is reflective of Holston Medical Group at all times.

Education/Experience/Knowledge/Requirements:

• A high school education or equivalent is required.
• Attention to detail.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid drivers license in the state he/she resides.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years (in any type of vehicle).
• No at fault accidents within the last 3 years (in any type of vehicle).
• No convictions of any of the following offences’ (in any type of vehicle) in the past 7 years: Driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance, Leaving the scene of an accident involving a commercial motor vehicle, No more than one excessive speeding (15 mph or more above the posted speed limit), Reckless driving, Vehicular manslaughter or vehicular homicide, Eluding a police officer, Operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked license, No felony convictions of confinement or conviction of a criminal offence.

• Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point.
• Ability to identify and distinguish colours.
