Job Description Key Responsibilities: Assisting the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations Leading and mentoring the kitchen team to maintain high standards Creating and delivering fresh, seasonal, and nutritious menus Supporting hospitality and event catering, ensuring seamless execution Maintaining strict hygiene, food safety, and allergen management protocols Controlling stock levels, ordering, and minimizing waste Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations Qualifications Proven experience working as a Sous Chef or similar role Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines Strong understanding of food safety and health & safety practices Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Additional Information Holroyd Howe is one of the UK’s leading contract caterers, providing fresh innovative food services solely to independent schools and colleges.
