Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team in Brentwood, United Kingdom. As a vital member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Wash dishes, pots, and pans using manual and automatic dishwashing equipment
- Assist in food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff
- Ensure proper storage and organization of kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all kitchen areas
- Dispose of waste and recycling materials according to established procedures
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries of food and supplies
- Perform regular deep cleaning tasks as scheduled
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods and special events
- Adhere to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
Qualifications
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
