Holroyd Howe is one of the UK’s leading contract caterers, providing fresh innovative food services solely to independent schools and colleges. We are a team of experienced professionals who tailor our catering service provision specifically to suit children of all ages in order to meet the bespoke requirements of each school.
35 working hours per week (1 hour of unpaid breaks, with free meals). Looking for a great work/life balanced job? We, the Catering Department at Charterhouse, have the ideal venue, location and team to make your dream job a reality. Serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner to our wonderful students, staff and guests 7 days a week. The best part is that approximately every 3rd weekend we have completely off, so planning social events throughout the year is great. Weekends are also much quieter than during the week in our main dining rooms, but we have amazing Saturday sports days. If you think the above-mentioned was good, the next point will definitely get you hooked, we are fully closed over the Christmas and New Year period, just more time with family and friends.
Another selling point is free meals while on duty, full uniform is provided and maintained, and if you feel active, access to the onsite gym at a very reduced cost, as little as only £50 for the year! Also, Free car parking, 28 Days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays (We have every long weekend off too!), Pension scheme and career development opportunities. In return we only ask you to be flexible in your working approach as it will be a 5 out 7 day job. The rota is a mix of both working patterns and we cannot promise one or the other because it is all about covering the needs we have. Morning shifts 6.30am - 2.30pm and evening shifts - 12.30pm-8.30pm. So, you can be on your sofa, if you are living locally, by 9pm to catch up on your favourite TV shows.
