Job Description Catering Assistant (all rounder FOH and BOH) Location: Brentwood School, Middleton Hall Lane, Brentwood CM15 8EE Rate of pay: 12.94ph Hours: 40 hours per week with paid overtime. 5 out of 7 days rota. We are looking for engaging, fun, flexible and approachable team member to help manage our brand new Boarding House operation and cafe. Job Description Provide friendly and efficient service to students, staff, and visitors in the school Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, light snacks, and pre-prepared foods Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of the caf , including counters, seating, and equipment Restock supplies and ensure displays are well-presented and inviting Assist with general kitchen duties, including cleaning, washing up, mopping, stock count etc. Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations at all times Provide excellent customer service, fostering a welcoming atmosphere in the caf Support occasional school events or functions as required Assist with setting up and serving meals to pupils and staff Additional Information This appointment is offered on the return of satisfactory professional references and DBS checks.
