New Hall School is a Catholic independent boarding and day school for girls and boys. With food at the heart of every pupil's development, we are looking to recruit an organised and experienced Kitchen Assistant who has experience in both of these areas.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking full English breakfast for 220 students buffet style
- Preparing a salad bar with fresh salad items plus compound salads and protein items for 500 students
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Supporting the kitchen with clean down
Qualifications:
- Well organised and able to think for themselves
- Experience in both of these areas
- Cleanliness and hygiene standards of a high level
- Ideally have experience working within education catering
- Have a progressive career to date
