Job Description:

Are you a Chef de Partie seeking a rewarding opportunity and the next step in your career? Join one of the UK\’s most prestigious independent schools and help create meals that inspire students. Located in a beautiful Victorian Mansion within 250 acres of Kent countryside, just 30 minutes from Maidstone near Cranbrook, this role offers an inspiring setting for both academic and extracurricular activities.

This position involves working evenings and includes serving breakfast, lunch, supper, and extensive hospitality services to day students (flexi-boarding) and staff. Be part of a supportive and engaging work environment!

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all dishes meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Assist in menu planning, considering dietary restrictions and seasonal ingredients.
  • Oversee stock control, ordering, and waste minimization.
  • Collaborate on special events and themed dinners.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and culinary techniques.
  • Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and effective communication.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within contract catering or educational settings.
