Technical & Project Expectations
This role is for a technical project manager with a genuine engineering background. You’ll be able to communicate naturally with engineers, spot technical risk early, and ask the right questions to keep the project moving.
Proven experience delivering technical projects end-to-end with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget and quality. Establish baselines and manage change (requirements, deliverables, acceptance criteria) while maintaining clear risk and task control.
Use planning tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) daily to schedule and track delivery, and support forecasting and project invoicing.
Themed entertainment fundamentals: integration workflow, show-critical thinking, and commissioning in show environments.
How AV, controls, networks and software integrate as a show system and how to apply strong delivery in this niche.
Deliver projects from initiation through commissioning and handover, meeting agreed scope, budget, timescales and quality through clear plans, reporting and change control.
Own risk, issues and dependencies escalating early and driving mitigation to protect outcomes.
People & Resource Management
Manage a highly skilled technical team by planning resource deployment, setting achievable objectives to meet plan, and maintaining momentum to hit milestones.
Commercial & Stakeholder Management
Manage stakeholder expectations through clear reporting, forecasting and project invoicing aligned to scope and approved change. You’ll keep communication clear, make trade-offs explicit, and maintain strong governance (plans, tasks, risks, issues, actions and decisions) so engineering teams can focus on building the right solution while stakeholders stay confident in outcomes.
We work at the intersection of engineering, technology and story, building complex solutions that must perform 365 days a year for thousands of guests per hour, in real world conditions. We’re a team of engineers, technologists and delivery professionals who take pride in building systems that work reliably because we put testing and preparedness first and we work collaboratively with partners and clients to do it well.
