From FP&A partners to our accounts payable teams, our finance and accounting department is responsible for providing high-quality services to our internal partners, business leaders and external suppliers. Our Finance and Accounting department is instrumental in supporting our business with the information it needs to make strategic decisions enabling us to do what we do best.
As our Senior Tax Accountant, International Tax, you will be responsible for assisting on all international tax matters including compliance, tax planning and audit support, coordinating international aspects of consolidated income tax provision and assisting on international expansion plans.
What to expect:
- Oversee the international tax compliance process, including coordinating with external tax advisors and entity accountants to ensure timely tax filings.
- Provide guidance on UK Corporation Tax matters, including SSE, CIR, SAO, and anti-hybrids.
- Collaborate with the shared service center team in Manchester to ensure accurate recording of return-to-provision adjustments, monitor advance tax payments, and support tax reporting.
- Work closely with international accounting teams on tax payments forecasting, quarterly tax reporting, transfer pricing, intercompany settlements, M&A activities, and statutory reporting.
- Assist in year-end international tax provision data gathering and review processes.
- Stay updated on international tax developments, assess their impact on business operations, and ensure compliance with new requirements.
- Partner with commercial and corporate teams to identify tax-related risks and opportunities.
- Manage relationships with external tax consultants and advisors.
- Continuously seek and implement process improvements across all areas of tax.
- Support data collection and stakeholder coordination for Pillar 2 reporting requirements.
What We Expect:
- International tax experience with a public accounting firm, law firm, and/or in a multinational corporation (UK experience as a minimum).
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferred in Accounting/Finance.
- Chartered accountant (or equivalent) or Chartered tax advisor.
- Possess communication (verbal and written) and financial analysis skills required to convey tax impacts of complex technical issues to non-tax stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex issues, processes and relationships.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Self-starter, willing to take initiative and contribute to the on-going improvement of internal processes.
