Are you a finance professional who thrives on transforming processes and driving excellence? Our finance and accounting department is responsible for providing high-quality services to our internal partners, business leads and external suppliers. We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our EMEA team, holding responsibility for the production of monthly management accounts, ensuring their accuracy and reliability. You will join a close-knit team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
What To Expect
- Preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L analysis and commentary
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, looking to constantly improve the quality of the reconciliations
- Completion of monthly commentary file and quarterly reporting packs
- Identifying and posting accruals and prepayments
- Preparation of payroll journals
- Bank reconciliations
- Developing and maintaining robust controls and processes
- Work closely with Financial Accountant and External Auditors in the preparation of statutory accounts
- Assisting with implementing new processes and procedures
- Ad hoc duties required by management or to meet the needs of the business
What We Expect
- A pro-active approach to your work and the drive to challenge and improve existing processes/controls
- High attention to detail with an inquisitive mindset
- Highly organised, diligent and structured individual with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- An enthusiastic team player with a positive mindset
- Part qualified or Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent
- 2-5 year experience in Management Accounting
- Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel
- Oracle experience would be an advantage but is not essential
- Conversational language skills in Spanish or Portuguese would be advantageous but not essential
