LOCATION: CTS factory or any other location where the company may be contracted to work at any given time.
KEY AIMS: To ensure quality work is carried out in the most efficient manner possible, so as to secure maximum advantage to the Company.
TASKS: To follow drawings and working with others and on your own, welding to a high standard. Ideally coded but we are willing to get you coded for the right applicant..
To take a ‘leading hand’ role where requested by foreman/director so as to ensure work is carried out to satisfactory standards as quickly as possible in safety.
To comply with and administrate correctly all Work Instructions issued by the Company.
To follow the Company’s Health and Safety Procedures.
To implement and ensure conformity of your work to all CTS Quality procedures.
To know the Company’s procedures and to comply with BS 9001 Quality Assurance Scheme, ISO 3834 and CE marking schemes and to carry these out with particular reference to marking up of goods; both raw material, partly finished and completed and adherence to company’s WPS and Quality plans.
To comply with signing in procedures, time sheet procedures, sickness procedures and others which may be required by the Company from time to time.
To ensure that tasks are undertaken safely and use trade skills to ensure that all machinery is operated in a correct and safe manner. To advise where more training is required in this respect and to assist in this training if necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS: Time served welder with several years experience including coded welder to BS EN ISO 9606-1:2013.
RATE £15 – £18.50 per hour (subject to experience)
