About the Role
G K & N Services are a market leader in Road Tanker manufacture incorporating Vacuum and high-Pressure jetting systems. The company supply specialist vehicle building solutions & drainage equipment, parts and accessories to councils, water authorities and contractors nationwide.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer / Engineering Assistant to support our engineering and fabrication teams. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, learning new skills, and being part of a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting engineers with day-to-day tasks and projects
- General labouring duties including lifting, loading, sorting and equipment checks
- Collections and deliveries in company vehicles
- Handling tools, materials, and equipment safely
- Basic assembly, maintenance, or fabrication work (training provided where needed)
- Keeping all work areas clean, tidy, and safe
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Good work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of tools or mechanical work
- Previous labouring or engineering experience is an advantage
- Full UK driving licence
