About the Role

G K & N Services are a market leader in Road Tanker manufacture incorporating Vacuum and high-Pressure jetting systems. The company supply specialist vehicle building solutions & drainage equipment, parts and accessories to councils, water authorities and contractors nationwide.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer / Engineering Assistant to support our engineering and fabrication teams. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, learning new skills, and being part of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting engineers with day-to-day tasks and projects
  • General labouring duties including lifting, loading, sorting and equipment checks
  • Collections and deliveries in company vehicles
  • Handling tools, materials, and equipment safely
  • Basic assembly, maintenance, or fabrication work (training provided where needed)
  • Keeping all work areas clean, tidy, and safe
  • Following health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements

  • Good work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Basic understanding of tools or mechanical work
  • Previous labouring or engineering experience is an advantage
  • Full UK driving licence
