Accounts Administrator Job Description
Job Title: Accounts Administrator
Located: Burton Security Head Office, Brockholes
The main responsibility of this position will be to manage the day-to-day sales and purchase ledger requirements of the business.
To effectively fulfil this role, the following duties will make up a large part of the job however are not limited to.
- Matching and processing supplier invoices,
- Supplier statement reconciliations,
- Liaising with suppliers by telephone and email.
- Ensuring invoices are authorised for payment.
- Managing the purchase ledger inbox.
- Daily sales invoicing
- Liaising with customers via telephone and email.
- Credit Control including credit applications.
- Customer Statements
- Taking and allocation of customer payments
- Use of customer portals for uploading of Invoices.
Required abilities include:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a role which includes purchase and sales ledger responsibilities.
- Knowledge of Sage Intact
- Organised to manage workloads.
As Accounts Administrator you will report into the Financial Controller.
Benefits package:
£28,000 per annum
20 days’ (+ statutory days) annual holiday with a time served accrual system.
