We have a truly unique opportunity for an experienced & determined individual to make a difference to Holmesterne, working alongside our existing sales team.

As a National Account Executive the main scope of your job will be:

  1. A hands-on sales support, customer service and account management role. A great introduction to FMCG sales where you will learn the fundamentals and grow.
  2. You will support the sales team with day-to-day account management (70% of your time).
  3. Working with all the key business functions, you will gain good exposure to production, technical, NPD, procurement, operations, and finance.
  4. This will require you to support the management of existing customer accounts, helping develop them in line with the business strategy to ensure sales budgets are met.
  5. This role is about farming current accounts, with future scope for new business development/hunting new business.
  6. After a successful probationary period, you will be given a group of smaller customer accounts. To allow you to learn, develop and hone your account manager skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Key Account support
  • Help resolve day to day issues where necessary
  • Monitor shared inbox and manage the delegation of workload
  • Organise sample requests for key accounts
  • Communicate customer forecasts to the Planning team
  • Update monthly KPI tracker
  • Support the new pricing communications
  • Support in the communication of new or delisted lines
  • Work with NPD to develop bespoke products for customers when required
  • Work with Technical to ensure all customer technical requirements are met
  • Maintain and update how-to guides and identify areas for process improvement
  • Aide in the preparation for customer meetings
  • To be fully knowledgeable about all products and services
  • Maintain a customer database, keeping it up to date and accurate with precise information relating to each account

Knowledge / Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft especially Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Prior experience of SAP is favourable but not essential
  • Proficient in the English language

Who are we looking for?

Either an applicant who has at least 2 years relevant administration and sales support experience, or an applicant who is at the start of their career and would like an insight into a fast-paced sales environment.

Role Details:

  1. This is an office-based role 5 days a week. 40 hrs per week 9am-5.00pm Mon-Fri
  2. Salary Band – £28k to £30k DOE
  3. 25 days annual plus 8 public holidays per annum
