Clinical Negligence Lawyer (Solicitor / CILEX) Due to continued growth, our Clinical Negligence team are seeking a talented lawyer (Solicitor or CILEX) to join our expanding Clinical Negligence dept. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied and high-quality caseload, including mid- to high-value and complex claims. You will handle a mix of litigated and non-litigated matters, working closely with an experienced and supportive team. The Role You will work on a broad range of clinical negligence matters, including: Birth injuries Surgical errors Hospital negligence Cosmetic surgery claims Dental negligence Mental health care claims Care home negligence Misdiagnosis and delayed diagnosis GP negligence Prescription errors Our Work Our team has a strong track record of achieving excellent outcomes for clients, including: Securing a six-figure settlement in a complex misdiagnosis claim resulting in amputation and life-changing injuries Achieving a five-figure settlement for a client who suffered a long-term wound infection caused by an infected mesh Recovering a five-figure settlement for a client who developed a serious infection following coronary artery bypass surgery due to surgical error About You We are looking for a Clinical Negligence lawyer with: 2–4 years’ relevant experience Experience progressing cases through to settlement or trial (post exchange of expert evidence) A strong track record of delivering exceptional client care Confidence in handling sensitive and complex client matters Key Skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to build clear, persuasive arguments Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities A collaborative, team-oriented approach The Team You will report to Jason Brady, Partner and Head of the Clinical Negligence
