Holmes and Hills Solicitors are a large and growing regional law firm with its heart in East Anglia. From six offices across Essex and Suffolk, including the brand new 14,000 sq ft A12 Commercial Hub at J25 of the A12, our legal professionals work in partnership with clients to provide proactive legal services through personal relationships.

Overview

Acting as a trusted advisor to individuals, businesses and local authorities, the solicitors and support staff at Holmes & Hills take the time to understand clients’ objectives before delivering practical advice through a personal and accessible approach.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a varied conveyancing caseload including sales, purchases, re-mortgages on freehold and leasehold property, lease extensions and Transfers of Equity, Transfers of Part, small development sales.
  • Demonstrate proven knowledge of trust matters and their impact on residential property transactions.
  • Deliver high quality conveyancing work under minimal supervision.
  • Engage in business development and marketing; be commercially aware with excellent relationship building and communication skills.

Experience and Qualifications

This role is suitable for an experienced 5 year+ PQE Residential Property Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive who is looking to grow and develop their career. The right candidate will have:

  • Excellent client care skills and a flexible approach to meeting client expectations
  • Confidence and competence in technical aspects of Residential Property and Land Law
  • Proven knowledge of trust matters and their impact on residential property transactions
  • A proven track record in delivering high quality conveyancing work under minimal supervision
