The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.
Due to our increasing workload in the defence and automotive sectors, we are looking to recruit a senior SMT Team Leader.
The main duties include the responsibility for the following:
- Supervise the setup and operation of surface mount pick and place machines. Europlacer experience preferred, but not essential.
- Setup and operation of automatic Speedprint and DEK stencil printers.
- Setup and operation of mass reflow ovens.
- Perform manual component placement and inspection.
- Perform routine machine maintenance.
- Perform detailed quality inspection of populated circuit boards.
The ideal candidate for this role should have the following skills & qualifications:
- In depth knowledge of PCB assembly, both SMT and Conventional.
- Minimum of five years’ experience operating SMT Equipment in a fast-paced environment. Europlacer experience is a plus.
- Capable of working to IPC-610 Class 3 standards.
- Interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and other customer data.
- Computer literate with a good level of English.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills both oral and written.
- Knowledge of AOI systems – Desirable.
- Rework Skills – Desirable.
- IPC-A-610 accreditation – Desirable.
