What does the day of a Domestic Assistant look like?

  • To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises
  • To clean resident rooms, communal and staff areas as well as toilets and bathrooms
  • Disposal of refuse/waste ensuring waste bins are maintained
  • Assist with laundry tasks
  • Assisting with dining room preparation for mealtimes
  • Develop a positive relationship with all residents, staff and visitors by becoming an important member of the team
