Responsibilities
- Providing excellent nursing care and support to our residents
- Overseeing all aspects of medication management and ensuring the safe administration of medication in accordance with NMC Standards
- Creating and carrying out treatment plans
- Offering a safe, caring and stable environment to the people we support
- Ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
- Supporting the Service Manager with key targets by promoting and practicing high standards of nursing care and ensuring staff and shifts are supervised in a smooth manner
- Supporting, guiding, teaching and mentoring other members of your team
- Working individually and in partnership with the Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need to hold a current registration with the NMC and have a relevant Nursing qualification. With a compassionate and caring attitude, you will have adequate knowledge, experience and a clear understanding of the nursing role and its professional boundaries.
