Responsibilities
- Provide excellent care and support to residents
- Supervise and motivate all Care Assistants to function efficiently as a team member
- Assist residents in all aspects of their care needs – physical, emotional and spiritual
- Provide support and guidance to family members
- Assist trained nurses and unit managers to lead and develop staff members
- Engage in day‑to‑day activities and provide companionship to residents
- Maintain good communication and develop effective working relationships with other team members
- Report on the wellbeing of residents and liaise with GPs and support managers
Qualifications
- Current SVQ Level 3 qualification
- Relevant Health and Social qualification
- Experience working in the care industry
