Our Maintenance teams are fundamental in creating a safe and homely environment, so our residents can enjoy a happy and comfortable life.
Maintain the Home’s internal and external environment, including gardens. Complete basic repairs and redecoration as and when required ensuring the Care Home remains in good decorative order at all times. Undertake all the necessary checks and recording required to ensure health and safety and fire safety in accordance with the Law and Regulations Regularly test fire alarm systems and support periodic fire evacuation practice.
Develop a positive relationship with all residents, staff and visitors by becoming an important part of the team. Assist residents to help move furniture, decorate and personalise their rooms. Ideally you will be an experienced multi-skilled all-rounder with general maintenance knowledge.
