Holmen Board and Paper, a part of the Holmen Group, operates a state‑of‑the‑art paperboard mill in Workington, England. We produce premium paperboard for a global market and are committed to sustainable, fossil‑fuel‑free operations. We are looking for Shift Production Operators to join our production teams. The role is full‑time, shift‑based with a rotating 12‑hour day/night pattern over a 34‑day cycle, including 20 built‑in rest days and holidays.
Your main areas of responsibility:
- Work safely and follow all Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
- Operate machinery and equipment efficiently to maximise performance and quality.
- Carry out production activities to meet customer requirements consistently.
- Collaborate within a team‑focused production environment.
- Support continuous improvement and operational excellence across the mill.
To succeed in the role:
- We look for motivated, positive‑attitude individuals who enjoy fast‑paced industrial environments and deliver high standards.
- You will ideally have GCSE Grade 4 or above in English, Maths and Science/ICT, or an equivalent/higher qualification.
- Significant relevant production experience (optional).
