Holmen Board and Paper, part of the Holmen Group, is seeking an experienced Electrical/Instrumentation Craftsperson to join our team at Workington Mill, England. The role operates within a daywork rota system (Monday to Friday), with a generous holiday allowance of ten days leave every 7.5 weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to health, safety and environmental procedures and engineering standards
  • Maintain the mill in an optimum and safe condition
  • Use the engineering management system to source parts, information and report work orders
  • Diagnose faults and take action to rectify them
  • Adhere to the permit to work/isolation system
  • Work safely within safety and skill remit

Qualifications

  • A recognised Engineering apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3 Minimum)
  • At least one year of practical experience in a process industry
  • Computer literacy with knowledge of the Windows Office suite
  • Working knowledge of Plant Management databases
  • Appropriate Health and Safety training – preferred IOSH Working Safety (minimum)
