Holmen Board and Paper, part of the Holmen Group, is seeking an experienced Electrical/Instrumentation Craftsperson to join our team at Workington Mill, England. The role operates within a daywork rota system (Monday to Friday), with a generous holiday allowance of ten days leave every 7.5 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to health, safety and environmental procedures and engineering standards
- Maintain the mill in an optimum and safe condition
- Use the engineering management system to source parts, information and report work orders
- Diagnose faults and take action to rectify them
- Adhere to the permit to work/isolation system
- Work safely within safety and skill remit
Qualifications
- A recognised Engineering apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3 Minimum)
- At least one year of practical experience in a process industry
- Computer literacy with knowledge of the Windows Office suite
- Working knowledge of Plant Management databases
- Appropriate Health and Safety training – preferred IOSH Working Safety (minimum)
