Salary up to £65,000 DOE. Holmefield Veterinary Clinic is seeking an enthusiastic Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our team on a permanent basis. The position offers a mix of consults and surgical cases, with clinical duties and rota patterns tailored to your interests. We prioritise work‑life balance and teamwork to provide the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will work closely with other vets and a supportive nursing team.
  • Conduct consultations and clinical examinations of small animal patients.
  • Perform routine and elective surgical procedures.
  • Assist in patient safety protocols, ensuring high‑risk and brachycephalic patients receive appropriate care.
  • Participate in team and practice meetings, contributing to quality improvement programmes.

Working Hours

Full‑time: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with one Saturday morning shared. We also welcome applicants seeking part‑time or flexible working hours.
